JAKARTA - PT Meppogen, one of the subsidiaries of Sintesa Group, will expand the powerplant projects that are located in South Sumatra, from the capacity of 110 megawatt (MW) to become 150 MW.

Currently, Meppogen manages the Gas and Steam Powerplant of Mount Merang in Muara Enim, South Sumatra with a capacity of 110 MW. Meppogen President Director, Rosar Marmara, said that the company plans to expand the gas-based power plant project to 150 MW.

To operate this expansion project, Meppogen have gained the certainty of funding through syndicated financing facility of PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur and PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance worth of US$ 145 million or equivalent to IDR 1.9 trillion
