Denpasar, 15 September 2023 – PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (“IIF”) a non-bank financial institution which engages Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in its business, is committed to implement sustainable development to contribute to the environment and society.

On Friday,15 September 2023, IIF Members (Management and Employee) participated in the activity of releasing baby sea turtles into the ocean for biodiversity preservation in the Bali Island.

In line with its concern for biodiversity, IIF has assisted with the release of 150 turtle hatchlings into the Jimbaran sea.

Out of the 7 sea turtle species found worldwide, 6 species are found in Indonesia. The habitat of sea turtles is increasingly eroded due to environmental pollution. According to the information provided by the Manager of Turtle Conservation and Education Centre (“TCEC”), I Made Sukanta, there are 3 types of turtles at the TCEC in Serangan, namely, the Scaly Turtle, Green Turtle, and Leatherback Turtle.

IIF hopes that the contributions made can strengthen the sustainability of their business while continuing to benefit the surrounding.
