Jakarta, 4 July 2023 – Entering Q2 2023, PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (“IIF”) continues to obtain notable recognition from International Institution with regards to the Implementation of Environmental, Social, & Governance (“ESG”) in its business process along with its Corporate strategy and values. Sustainable Fitch, has officially assigned the ESG Entity Rating of ‘2’.
Sustainable Fitch categorizes the ESG Rating on a scale of ‘1’ to ‘5’. Where the scale of ‘1’ being the best rating. For Sustainable Fitch, IIF is currently the only Financial Institution that represents Indonesia in obtaining the highest satisfactory rating of ‘2’ from the International Rating Agency.
Quoting the official press release published by Sustainable Fitch, IIF has succeeded in integrating sustainability values with ESG principles. As reflected in the successfully recorded 2022 financial year performance, IIF was guided by principles of sustainable finance in supporting infrastructure growth in Indonesia and taking account of the environmental sustainability.
In addition to the environmental aspects, Sustainable Fitch considers that every infrastructure project funded by IIF has a value for the community at large. IIF continuously empower and develop communities through philanthropic assistance for its corporate social responsibility.
IIF has steadily adheres to the principles of Good Corporate Governance (“GCG”). Considering to have satisfactory governance credentials, especially in terms of information disclosure to strategic stakeholders and regulators, and aspects of risk management. These aspects of GCG contributed to IIF’s success in improving performance in achieving profitability in the 2022 financial year.
