Summary
IIF signed a facility agreement to provide project financing for Custody Flow Meter (CFM) Facility located in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. The project supports the gasification of PLTGU Tanjung Batu as part of PT PLN (Persero)’s initiative to reduce the PLTGU’s reliance on diesel fuel and lowered the electricity production cost.
The project proponent has over eight years of experience in gas industry e.g., gas distributions and pipelines with notable clients.
This is a category B project where social and environmental risks and impacts can be avoided and mitigated through the appropriate implementation of mitigation measures by implementing IIF Social and Environmental Principles.
