Summary
In May 2021, IIF provides senior term loan facility to leverage Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) operation and maintenance contract which the proceed can be utilized to finance the development of new infrastructure projects owned by the Borrower.
The FSO is a converted tanker to receive, store and offload crude oil produced by one of the oil fields in Natuna sea area. The Borrower is only acting as the operation and maintenance services provider of the FSO.
Based on the Social and Environmental Due Diligence (SEDD), this project is categorized as a Category B Project in terms of risks and impacts. This categorization considers the nature and scale of the project as well as the potential social and environmental risks and impacts of the project.
