Summary

In September 2023, IIF signed an agreement to provide corporate refinancing for four (4) operating hospitals in Bandung, Bogor, Tangerang, and Surabaya. In total, the four hospitals have 759 beds capacity in maximum. The hospital in Tangerang started operating in 2008, while the hospital in Surabaya began operating in 2021. The hospital in Bogor has been in operation since 2018 where currently in the process of expanding its building with the target to complete the construction by end of 2023. The hospital in Bandung is a newly built and started operating in March 2023. It is also the first Green Building hospital in Indonesia with EDGE Certification for Green Building. This Project is categorized as a Category B project, where the S&E impacts can be avoided and mitigated through the appropriate implementation of mitigation measures during the construction and operation stages.
