Summary
In December 2021, IIF signed an agreement to provide a Loan Facility to a State-Owned Enterprise company with business activities focuses on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (“EPC”) for infrastructure project such as transportation infrastructure (road/toll road/bridge), irrigation, electricity, and building construction. The Loan Facility is intended to serve as a working capital to finance construction works of several infrastructure projects within the IIF mandated sector.
Since 2021, there are multiples infrastructure projects financed under this Loan Facility scheme. The projects include construction of main distribution network of regional drinking water supply system in North Sumatera, Road Preservation Project in West Kalimantan and Central Java, Road and Bridge Preservation Project in East Java and construction of Toll Road Project and Work Road Access as part of the new Ibu Kota Negara development in East Kalimantan. The Loan Facility was fully repaid in line with the end of the Tenor period.
In December 2024, IIF signed an agreement to reactivate the Working Capital Facility with 1 (one) new Approved Project i.e., The Patimban Access Toll Road Construction – Package 02 Project. Given the nature of the Company activities as part of joint operations contractor for the Project, in term of Social and Environmental aspects, this investment is categorized as a Category B project where the potential risk and impact is limited and can be managed by adhering to IIF S&E Principles.
