Summary
IIF provides a corporate term loan aimed to refinance a bond and providing a working capital facility in the telecommunications sector, specifically for developing and/or managing subsea cables. The project has successfully connected northern parts of Sumatra and Java Island with high-speed internet since 2020. The project coverage includes regions across two provinces in Sumatra and four provinces in Java, with the cable length of 574 km and 875 km respectively, enhancing the Indonesian government’s efforts to increase internet coverage and speed capacity.
