Summary

IIF provides a Corporate loan facility to a mass transportation-based property developer for a construction development of a residential building and the commercial area as part of the Transit Oriented Development (“TOD”) within Cisauk commuter line area. The project showcases the TOD principles of connect, mixed-use, walkable, densify, and shift & transit. This project is the first TOD project that IIF finance which aims to promote the use and access to mass transportation and integrates the commercial and residential areas with a commuter line station. As part of the TOD, the project also expected to stimulate economic growth, reduce traffic congestion, and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The project has been assessed using IIF Social and Environmental (S&E) Standards aimed to manage S&E risks and promote sustainable development. The participation is part of IIF’s continuous support to transportation infrastructure sector in Indonesia.
