Summary

IIF provided IDR 200 bln sindicated senior term loan facility to the Company for construction of Pemalang-Batang toll road (project) in August 2018. The Company is acting as a special purpose vehicle which will develop, operate, and transfer the facility to the government by the end of concessionaire period. The project is 39.2 km in length and crosses 3 regencies in Central Java province, namely Pemalang, Pekalongan (including Pekalongan City), and Batang, with 14 sub-districts, and 52 villages. The project is part of the National Strategic Project as stipulated in Government Regulation No. 58/2017. The project is categorized as a public interest. In October 2019, IIF supported the project by providing Cash Deficiency Support (CDS) amounted IDR 600bln. By participating in this loan, IIF has contributed to the development of the trans Java toll road which connecting the western part and the eastern part of Java Island, and also able to reduce the level of congestion at that location.
