Summary
IIF provided IDR 150 billion financing for the Project Company to develop 2×5 MW Mini Hydro Power Plant in Tomasa, Central Sulawesi. The Project supports the development of renewable energy in Indonesia with a minimum construction risk and is estimated to reach COD in December 2019. As a mini hydro with 2×5 MW capacity, the annual energy production at 66% capacity factor is 56.3 GWh and is aimed to support GI Pamona Substation to supply the electricity, to cover beneficiaries in North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, and Gorontalo. According to the IIF Social and Environmental Principles this project is classified as Category B.
