Summary

IIF continuously supports the development of renewable energy infrastructure by providing credit enhancement to the first green bond issued by a non-SOE company in Indonesia that develops Mini-Hydropower Plants (MHPPs). There are three MHPPs that will utilize the green bond proceed issued by the Company:

    1) 2 x 3.7 MW MHPP in CIkopo, West Java
    2) 2 x 5 MW MHPP in Tomasa, Central Sulawesi
    3) 2 x 5 MW MHPP in Poso, Central Sulawesi



All three projects are run-off river MHPPs with medium levels of S&E risks. The projects are expected to accelerate the renewable energy mix target to reach 23% by 2025 in Indonesia.
