Summary
In October 2023, IIF signed an agreement to provide corporate financing for a Solar PV Provider. The project is to install, operate, and maintain the Rooftop Solar PV under Rental or Lease Agreement with Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sectors as the off-taker. This project is expected to contribute to achieve Indonesia’s renewable energy target up to 23% by 2025. The project also set a total target to install up to 65 MW of Rooftop Solar PV in Sumatra, Java, and Bali, which is equal to emission carbon reduction of up to 47,450 ton-CO2. This Project is categorized as a Category B project, where the S&E impacts can be avoided and mitigated through the appropriate implementation of mitigation measures during the construction and operation stages.
